Bees getting high on stevia

Well, maybe they’re not actually getting *high*, but I’d like to think so.. Stevia plants are just so darned sweet! And they don’t have any sugar in them either, so they are great as a sugar replacement. I’ve got a couple that are blooming, and some of the local honeybees decided they just needed to come on in for some fun.

I also took up one of my spare 16″ pots and decided to put another sage plant in it along with a rosemary. These were both seedlings bought from my local nursery. I think I’ll add some genovese basil from my bush to grow in there also. It would make a good gift to someone later, or will just add to my kitchen culinary tastes. That genovsee basil is mighty potent!

And of course the rest of the set is viewable here.
